The number of sellers is a supply-side factor. With more trucks, the market as a whole offers more lunches at every price, so supply shifts right. Buyers have not changed, so demand stays put. The lower price moves buyers down along their demand curve.
Price falls and quantity rises.
Common mistake. Students occasionally shift demand right because 'more people will buy lunch.' More lunches are bought, but only because the price fell. The extra sellers moved supply.
