Drag a curve sideways, or use its arrows. A curve you do not move is a curve you are saying stays put. Make each shift clear enough that a reader could see it.

Demand shifts right. Supply shifts left.

Two things changed on two sides of the market. The health trend raises what buyers want at every price, so demand shifts right. The drought cuts what growers can offer at every price, so supply shifts left. Both shifts push price up. One shift raises quantity and the other lowers it, so the net effect on quantity depends on which shift is bigger.

Price rises for certain, while quantity may rise or fall depending on which shift is larger.

Common mistake. The usual slip is to move only one curve, or to move both in the same direction. Read each event separately: the trend is a buyer story, the drought is a seller story, and they push quantity opposite ways.

Lesson: Double Shifts

Every prompt here is one shift. The course chains them: a lesson on why the curve moves, a graded drawing, and spaced review that brings back the shifts you get wrong.
