Solow growth model
The standard model of growth. Saving builds capital, capital raises output, but each extra machine adds less than the last, so an economy grows toward a steady state where new investment just replaces worn-out capital. Only technology keeps growth going after that.
Also called: Solow-Swan model, neoclassical growth model, steady state
