Shift of the curve
The whole demand or supply curve moves to a new position because something other than the good’s own price changed: income, tastes, the price of a related good, input costs, technology, expectations or the number of buyers or sellers. A shift right means more is wanted or offered at every price.
Also called: curve shift, change in demand, change in supply
